Led Zeppelin: 1975-03-27 Los Angeles, CA (FLAC_AUD 1st Gen & Unknown Source Mix_3 CD)

Tonight, 39 years ago, Led Zeppelin wrapped up their last show in the United States for the next two years.  After this show, they went home for a short break and then finished off their last five shows on their 1975 tour at home in England's Earl's Court.

This upload is the one I consider to be the best.  It's the Winston Remasters two sources mix.  The primary source, of course, is the Mike Millard 1st generation tapes and the second source is an unknown low generation source from another taper (Source 2).  Source 2 is used to fill in any gaps in the Millard recording (i.e. as tapes were changed out).  This is another superb recording as well as a superb remastering too.

No sound was altered in this remaster of the two source mix!  And I'm uploading the file set as is (I'm not changing, removing, or adding anything).

LINEAGE & SOURCE INFO:
Source 1: Mike Millard master (primary audio source) > Hi-Fi VHS > 96 kHz/24 bit > 44.1 kHz/16 bit > FLAC
Source 2: Unknown taper low generation source (used to patch) > analog transfer to 4CD-R(2)
Additional Info: Winston Remasters mix of two sources (no info, software, etc given) > me > TLH (to verify ffp & st5 files) > you

This March 27th Millard recording is as good as the one I recently uploaded of his 3/25 1st generation tapes we have for that show.  As a general rule, Mike Millard on a show's recording equals a superb recording.  At first, I was going to upload the Mike Millard 1st generation unmarked tapes version.  But since both of these sources used in this mix are excellent and they provide a more complete, and I believe the full version of the show, I went with Winston Remasters superb work.  Like with Millard's recordings, Winston's remasters, whether their is audio manipulation (EQ work) or not, are almost always the best final projects you can find.  At least this is my opinion!

The band added "Since I've Been Loving You" as well as "The Crunge" into this final US tour show on this night.  I guess they were going out this night with a longer show and a "goodbye for a while" extended version of their show.
